Junior Lord Mayor Competition

Congratulations to Alice Casey (Year 5A) and Simona Crivelli (Year 5B), who were both finalists in the 2016 Junior Lord Mayor Competition for . The winner of this competition becomes the ‘little big boss of Melbourne’ for the year.

Alice and Simona attended the judging this morning, Thursday 25 August, in the Council Chambers at Melbourne Town Hall. The competition entailed answering several questions from a panel of judges: Channel Nine newsreader, Peter Hitchener; Deputy Lord Mayor, Susan Riley; Melbourne Day Chairman; Campbell Walker; and Head of Client Services for 13CABS, Simon Pursey.

It was an extremely close competition, with both girls doing the College proud, placing as runner ups.
