Dante Alighieri Poetry and Writing Competition

Our º«Å®Ðã students excelled again this year in the Dante Alighieri Poetry and Writing Competition. On Thursday 18 July, four students participated in the finals of the competition, achieving excellent results. Congratulations to Cristina Mattioli and Lola Crivelli who received equal first prize in the Italian-Australian Poetry Recital Competition. Christina and Lola also received a High Distinction in the Writing Competition.

We also congratulate Lara Partridge and Elissa Grossi who were awarded first prize and third prize respectively in the Italian-Australian Writing Competition.

Each student attended the Presentation Ceremony on Friday 6 September to receive their awards.

We also acknowledge and celebrate the great achievements from Sofia Rossi, Alexandra Sayers, Natalie Di Battista and Anabel Robertson. These students have received a Merit, Distinction or High Distinction in their respective sections.

We congratulate these students and Ms Tiziana Dodds, who promoted and coordinated the competitions and supported her students along the way.
