Our Outstanding Alumnae Awards

Each year, the º«Å®Ðã FCJ College Council recognises the contributions of a past student who has made a difference in our community and displayed the º«Å®Ðã values of courage and confidence. An inspiring role model for all young women, the Award acknowledges their love of learning and service to others.

2024 Outstanding Alumna Award Recipient

Dr Eleanor Flynn
Class of 1965

We are thrilled to announce Dr Eleanor Flynn MB BS, B Ed, B Theol, M Theol, Dip Ger Med, FRACGP, FRACMA as our Outstanding Alumna for 2024.

Dr Flynn was a boarder at º«Å®Ðã from 1960 to 1965 and went on to study medicine at the University of Melbourne. Her career in Medicine has included work in palliative care, aged care, medical education, spiritual health with numerous published books and papers. Dr Flynn also has a Masters in Theology and founded Women’s Wisdom in the Church (WWITCH) to raise awareness of Women’s wisdom, experience and skills in the Australian Church. Dr Flynn will share her experiences with our students during assembly and then with the wider community during the evening of Wednesday 4 September.
